Join the Ådalen Literary Festival 2026 in Sandslån, Kramfors Municipality, on July 24-25th. Enjoy author talks, music, and a festive atmosphere in a historic riverside setting by the Ångerman River.
Ådalens Litteraturfestival returns to Sandslån on 24-25 July 2026. The festival, founded by authors Tove Alsterdal and Mats Jonsson, is held in the old timber shed by the Ångermanälven.
Among the participating authors are Malin Persson Giolito, Patrik Svensson, Lisa Ridzén, Mattias Alkberg, Nina Hemmingsson, David Thurfjell, Sirpa Kähkönen, Ester Berg and Mikael Yvesand.
The area has food and drinks for sale as well as opportunities for overnight stays at campsites and hostels. For more information about accommodation, visit sandslan.se.

Tickets are 360 SEK per day and are non-refundable. The festival runs from 10:00 to 21:00 on Friday and 10:00 to 22:00 on Saturday
