Welcome for a a visit to the Wilderness mine. One of the mineral richest places in the world.
A visit to the Wilderness mine. One of the mineral richest places in the world. Before you entering the mine you will be equiped with a hard hat, coat, boots and a flash light. If you want you can se a guide movie. You will walk down the stairs in the ventilation shaft entering the mine. Down in the mine you will stroll around looking at how they where mining, see some equipment and many of the 73 different mineral that where found in the mine.

You can buy stones from the mine or buy a rock exploring license in the reception to pick your own gems out on the area after your visit in the mine.

- You are eligible to receive a full refund of the booking amount if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Tour is self guided, after booking a time slot you are welcome to arrive anytime between 10:00 and 16:00 on the day.
Dress for +5 degrees celcius
It is 120 steps down in the mine, no elevator.
No picking stones in the mine.
