Visit Exploratoriet in Skellefteå, a science center where technology and science turn into a playful experience for all ages. Across three floors and 800 square meters of exhibition space, you’ll find interactive stations where you can experiment, learn about forest sounds, test metal recycling, and challenge yourself on a musical climbing wall.
For space enthusiasts, the planetarium offers star shows that take you through the solar system and beyond the galaxies. You can also try digital multi-touch screens with educational games.
After an exciting day of discoveries, you can unwind in the café, which serves lunch and snacks. The gift shop offers unique products to take home as a souvenir of your visit. Whether you are curious about science or just looking for a fun and educational day with your family, Exploratoriet in Skellefteå is an experience that engages and inspires!

Please note that during autumn, winter and spring there are no experiment shows and no planetarium showings on Mondays and Fridays, therefore the entrence fee is reduced.
During weekends and all holidays we are open from 11-16, and we also have experiment shows and planetarium showings two times a day.

SE26 special price!
During Society Expo 26 (SE26) you will have the opportunity to explore Exploratoriet at half price, only 60 SEK. This price will be available at the SE26 Pre party (14-17th of May) and of course also at SE26 (27th of May until 9th of June).

At Exploratoriet Science Center the whole family is up for a day of fun, learning and curiosity all in one. We are open Mondays and Fridays from 13 until 16 and almost all weekends and holidays from 11 until 16.
